Afterpants: Afterlives (Deliverance from Damnation)

This afterlife trope is "Deliverance from damnation" This trope applies exclusively to a antagonist who has died and for whatever reason, the story needs him/her/them to 'be saved.'

As we here at Afterpants do not believe in any true "punishing place" regardless of religion, while still acknowledging that many people still believe in a 'true hell', we'll have to say this trope is not likely. If there is no place to saved from...then this story trope can't be real.
