Afterpants: Afterlives (Artificial Afterlife)

Today's afterlife trope is "Artificial Afterlife" This is the idea that humans can somehow build their own afterlife if the ones they've read about aren't satisfactory for some reason.

Again, I have it on authority that this is in fact true. (Also, any time I say "I have it good authority" it means "through divination, I have been in communication with the Spirits and this is what they've taught me") The Ancient Egyptian afterlife coexists with the Kar and other places which are entirely the creation of dead humans with similar cultural and spiritual values.
