Afterpants: Dharmundies (Henjo o )

Welcome back to Dharmundies...the series where I introduce you to the rulers and hell and talk about their underwear...

Honestly, after Enma, I was going to stop the series cuz...redundant...but never say never like...

Today's Hell King is:

Name: Henjo o 変成王 弥勒菩薩 Miroku Bosatsu

Appearance: Kingly...kind of friendly looking comparred to the rest of the family.

Function: Footballer apparently...(no really...Judge of the Dead)

Tools of the trade: Big stick and a can of beans.

Quote: "Did you enjoy yourself last night?"

Hobbies: Cake decorating, coin collecting and playing the triangle

Underwear: Multi-colored jock straps

Interestingly enough, in Buddhist teachings, there's supposed to be a "future Buddha" called Maitreya and Henjo is supposed to be him.

So I guess he's sort of waiting in Hell to come to earth and all like "shout out to the Dharma bytches!"

Anyway, Henjo in Japanese also means "weird girl" so...there's that.

You see him on the 42nd day (end of the 6th week) in Hell and in Chinese, his title is also "King of Transformation" neat...huh?
