Afterpants: Undemons (Edimmu)

Today's Undemons are the surprisingly rhyming "Edimmu"

Hailing from the Sumerian underworld, they are created when a person is improperly buried.

(much like the Gashadokuro of Japan)

Though I have long taken a bit of pride in the Japanese idea that "improper burial" is an entirely, culturally unique idea ...I found myself mistaken.

Regardless, Edimmu are "air spirits" and "invisible" and can, under the proper circumstances, possess a living person.

As a fan of both ancient Sumeria and "groups of spirits" (Like Djinn, Yokai etc...) especially from the underworld (like...there are groups of spirits IN the world...I donno...Chupacabras for example) but unless they're of Underworldian origin...it's not quite the same.

Offering: Well...Edimmu are terrifying but also tutelary in nature so..

Incense, salt, a mountain of hummus (with pita), several casks of red wine and

sport, micro boxer briefs with mesh in the front.
